Last night at our AGM we were very pleased to present the ‘Volunteer of year 2024’ award to Alan Johnson.
He was nominated by his fellow volunteers as, for many years, he has regularly undertaken full evening shifts and can always be relied on. He is also a big part of our training team as he gives lots of personal time to carry out driver assessments.
Congratulations and thank you Alan for all that you do for our charity!

After an amazing weekend at Stormin the Castle we are delighted to announce donations raised a total of £1114.20. Many thanks to everyone who donated during the event, to the fantastic Stormin team, our team of volunteers who manned our stall and showers and those who took time to speak to us throughout. We hope you’re all home safely and can’t wait to see you again next year!
Last year we were proud to support Beatrix's Heart Journey with the Gift of Life Ride to help raise awareness of NHS Organ Donation.
This year on Saturday 21st September we are supporting the Hero Inside Ride 2024 in aid of #organdonationawarenessweek and Red Sky Foundation.

Our charity is run entirely by volunteers and relies on these volunteers to undertake all tasks. The majority of our operational work is out of hours during unsociable hours overnight and at weekends. They work very closely with our Shift Controllers and use technology to record activities.
We have a fabulous team of speakers who are happy to deliver talks to groups, clubs and schools to explain who we are, what we do and how we do it. They’re even partial to judging the odd cake competition.
