On Wednesday 16th October 2024 three Blood Bike groups took part in a national relay of samples.
Starting from Leicester Royal Infirmary with Jim from Leicestershire & Rutland Blood Bikes who transported the samples up to Barlborough where he handed it over to Dave from Whiteknights Yorkshire Blood Bikes. It was then taken up to Scotch Corner where it was handed over to our volunteer driver Clive who took it to its final destination at Newcastle Cancer Centre.
All completed completely free of charge for the NHS by Blood Bike volunteers.
