On Thursday 31st October 2024 we took part in a national milk run relay involving three blood bike groups.
Beginning with John from SERV Herts & Beds collecting the milk from Hearts Milk Bank. It was transported up to Northamton to be handed over to Steve from Derbyshire Blood Bikes. From there it was relayed up to Wetherby where John from Northumbria Blood Bikes took it the final leg of the relay to the Milk Hub in Morpeth.
All completed completely free of charge for the NHS by Blood Bike volunteers.
